### **A New Era for YBH Hebrew Arts Program**
#### **Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future**
For over five decades, **YBH Hebrew Arts Program** has been a beacon of academic excellence and Jewish education, nurturing generations of scholars, leaders, and visionaries. Founded in 1967 in Belle Harbor, our institution became known for its **warm, supportive environment**, small class sizes, and unwavering dedication to each child's growth.
But history is defined not just by its triumphs but by its resilience.
In 2012, **Hurricane Sandy swept through our school**, erasing decades of memories, resources, and infrastructure in a matter of hours. Desks, books, technology—everything was lost. To the outside world, it seemed impossible to rebuild. But within our community, we knew that YBH was more than a building. It was **an idea, a purpose, a family bound by the shared mission of education, faith, and perseverance**.
Determined to rise stronger, **parents, teachers, and leaders united in an extraordinary effort to rebuild our Yeshivah**. In an astonishing display of resilience, a new board formed, committees mobilized, and within days, a new home was found in the heart of Brooklyn. Other Yeshivot contributed supplies, organizations lent their expertise, and together, **we defied the odds and restored YBH**—not just as a school, but as a symbol of **faith, strength, and unwavering dedication to Jewish education**.
And today, we embark on a **bold new chapter**, one that not only honors our past but **elevates our future**.
